Cathryn

Owner and Director

Cathryn set up Cornish Interiors in 2003, after working for a couple of large property developers. She has a degree in Spatial and Interior Design and a vast amount of experience designing all sorts, from hotels and restaurants, retail spaces and cafes, historical property and commercial developments with a particular emphasis on luxury private housing.

Cathryn is a real people person and loves getting the best out of a team on a project, being the clients ‘eyes on the ground’ when projects are South West based, and pushing clients to be braver with their design decisions so they end up with a space they love to be in. She’s calm under pressure and loves being on a building site getting stuck in.

Not satisfied with just doing design, Cathryn is a part time lecturer in Interior Design & Styling and this brings a fresh perspective to her own design skills. She loves a sea swim and is in training for a triathlon.

Lynne

Senior Interior Designer

Lynne joined Cornish Interiors in 2016 and has a background in commercial design and office interiors, working in London and later Guildford for various design companies over a 20 year period. She’s spent over 10 years extensively renovating an historic farmhouse, so understands the clients needs more than most. Being married to a building surveyor has deepened her knowledge of how a building works. With a natural flair for subtle colour palettes and layers of texture, Lynne has completed projects in Jersey, Cornwall and Devon. She thoroughly enjoys the bustle of a building site and working with a team of trades to bring a project to fruition.

Outside of work Lynne has a passion for cooking, gardening and sea swimming.

Anna

Junior Interior Designer

Anna has a degree in Interior Decoration, Design and Styling and joined the Cornish Interiors team after working as a Stylist for Princess Yachts. Anna has a passion for styling and details in interiors and knows just where to look for all the objects and accessories to pull a scheme together.

Anna keeps us all up to date in the studio by looking after our vast samples library, she is in the process of renovating her first home and has a great knowledge of local trades people who can be relied upon for the high finish our clients require.

Anna is a keen skier and tennis player.
